There's never enough

Okay, here we are, in a new month. Time for a new 30 day blog challenge, eh? So far I've done 30 Days of Truth, 30 Days of Music, and this month, I shall do 30 Days of Photos!

Day 1 – A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.

Well... pretty much today was MEH. I had to work. But only for 4 hours, so that was okay. I got to spend the majority of my day with my kiddos, which, as always, is fantastic fun.

I was missing... someone... quite a bit, but that's to be expected, lol. The worst part of today was the trip to DMV to get my drivers license renewed and come to find out I have to have a birth certificate to do it.

Fuck if I know where it is... so looks like not only will I have to pay 40 bucks for a new license... but an additional 20 for the certificate... fml! As if money wasn't tight enough... sigh.

I've really done my best to do this single mom thing on my own. Yes, I've asked the government for some assistance via WIC and foodstamps... which was a huge blow to my pride/ego... but technically, I think I qualify for a lot of other assistance.... rent... utilities... daycare.... but I'm just not quite to that DESPERATE stage yet....

I don't want to mooch off the system... although goodness knows I've paid enough taxes I should be entitled... but oh well. Cross that bridge when I get to it!
