Something I noticed when the light was just right

Day 19 - A song from your favorite album

Well of course you know that this is going to be an Incubus song... but it's so hard for me to say what is my favorite album by them... because every one of their albums is so unique.

Fungus Amongus was an amazing mix of funk and metal and is the only album where you get to hear Brandon rapping.

Science I think is my favorite album by them for when I want to listen to something a little "harder" because it's a great mix of heavy metal/electronica/funk/jazz/hiphop/techno.

Make Yourself is where Incubus became more mainstream rock and is still a great album, but I feel they lost a bit of originality with this one.

Morning View is probably my favorite album by them for when I want to listen to something a little "softer" although, some songs on still have a nice edge to them, so it's a good mix.

A Crow Left of the Murder was  a completly different sound for them, and I think a lot of it had to do with the change in bassists. I still can't decide who I like better between Alex and Ben.

Light Grenades is perhaps their most diverse album of all in the fact that every single song is completely unique from the others.

So for this blog post, I will choose a song from Morning View, because I just want to!

"ECHO" By Incubus

There's something about the look in your eyes
Something I noticed when the light was just right
It reminded me twice that I was alive
And it reminded me that you're so worth the fight
My biggest fear will be the rescue of me
Strange how it turns out that way
Could you show me dear
Something I've not seen
Something infinitely interesting
Could you show me dear
Something I've not seen
Something infinitely interesting
There's something about the way you move
I see your mouth in slow motion when you sing
More subtle than something someone contrives
Your movements echo that I have seen the real thing
Your biggest fear will be the rescue of you
Strange how it turns out that way
Could you show me dear
Something I've not seen
Something infinitely interesting
Could you show me dear
Something I've not seen
Something infinitely interesting
